I'm Promise Facciponte, a Media and Communications student in Texas Tech University's Honors College, pursuing a Bachelor's in Creative Media Industries with a minor in Journalism. I'm a storyteller by nature and a journalist by training, drawn to work at the intersection of culture, criticism, and craft.

My background spans reporting, screenwriting, corporate communications, and broadcast media. I spent eight months as a paid media and communications intern at Commvault Systems, working alongside PR teams on press releases, media training, and announcement planning. Currently, I'm serving at Flix Brewhouse, a movie theater, exactly where you'd expect to find me.

When I'm not writing, I'm watching. I'm a lifelong film obsessive, with a Letterboxd to prove it, and a musical theater background that gave me an instinct for story, timing, and what makes an audience feel something. Both shape everything I make.
